Time On My Hands, Since You Been Away Boy(8)

My sis wanted to know why I wasn't blogging. For the same reason that I've avoided conversation with people...aint one thing going on with me. That's not completely true but how many times can one bitch and moan about her weight, gloat about her gorgeous, loving, amazing man and fret about her lack of studying (apparently one more time)?

I could stop with the self-obsession and talk about world affairs and issues that require thought, but the more I watch British documentaries (well informed folk over this side of the Atlantic) the more I'm certain that God should just come for His world.

I swear, between the weather and the television over here it's enough to make one contemplate jumping off the Blackpool Tower. Endless documentaries about the morbidly obese, ever-prevalent racism, the plight of the mature, single woman who wants to have children, the pillage of the environment, oh so many endangered species about to die out any second now... in general the hopelessness of the state of things in this modern age.

Humans are really messed up creatures... and thats my profound statement for the day.

My Valentine's Day... spent it on msn. The marvels of modern technology. But who aint counting down to carnival, have all manner of lovey-dovey msn names and that just highlights to me all that I'm missing out on right now.

so Adua... blog dedicated to you.

General hormone infused ranting about not too much. That should keep you for another week and by then I will have some other inane crap to ramble on about.

(slipping into Guinness Rush Hour Mode 'cause everyone should have a shout-out name/ crew)
