The Average Person Is Stupid
I'm convinced that the average person that votes on anything isn't very smart. First off Owen Arthur is Bajan PM, Bush is US President, Shane is the latest X Factor and now these stupid people have voted Jodie Marsh out of the Celebity Big Brother House.
Granted, I watch too much televison. And its not intelligent tv either. One would never accuse Big Brother of being mind stimulating material so im not in a really in a position to comment on anyone's smarts. HOWEVER... the pull of reality tv is sex and drama... this understood... would you vote her out and leave in the aged politician?
Some people are just waiting to be manipulated. It's just so sad.

i'll be tuning in to Celebrity Grandfather tomorrow night.
There's nowt (learning some northerner lingo) better to do.

Fair to Partyly Cloudy
-Went to the library. My attention span has increased from 1 hour to 4 hours. NON STOP WORK! What a huge achievement for me:D
-Promise of some income... woo hoo.
- Came home to some Celebrity Big Brother (my new addiction). It's like Real World but not really at all. Nothing quite so fancy. But Dennis Rodman is on there and Traci Bingham. I dont know why I feel that every black person on TV is representing me.... but lawd that man embarrassing! Americans arent the only annoying folks though... definitely not.
-And then the lil sis and I decided to make some cookies during the commercial breaks. Didnt go as planned. hmmm... let's just say I ended up running out into the cold (in my pajamas) with a tray of smoking pastry praying that the smoke alarm didnt go off. But the second batch is quite yummy.
- MUT has moved on and I'm actually genuinely happy for him. Personal growth?? I think so!

So Over You
What does it mean to be over someone? Is it when they can't make you cry anymore? Does it mean you have to stop caring what happens to them?
And how do you get over someone you still love? How do you forget about someone you swore you'd love forever?
Maybe forever just means until the next person comes along. Or love just means like alot until you don't anymore.
Feelings should be more convenient. You just switch them off when you're ready. You break up with someone you switch off, your parents get on your nerves... just switch off, friend says something hurtful... switch the hell off. It really makes no sense getting all upset about it when someone is less than careful with your feelings. You can't control what other people feel or do.

There is no thrill in the uncertainty of the future for me. It's quite scary not to know whether I will fail at this thing. Obviously there are loads of things in my control... passing this exam is one of them. But something being in my control has never been a guaruntee of me succeeding at it. And then there are all those things that are completely out of my hands...
well as they used to say on Fun School... 'I hope the hell it works!' Did they say that on Fun School? Having children say Hell. isnt that like saying Damn? like a swear word or something?
