It's A Small World After All - My Party Experience
Went out last night in what feels like forever. Went with 3 Jamaicans from Canada Hall. Imagine that in this city with all these people I can find someone from the good ol UWI days in TnT living less than 10 mins away from me.

I had a good time. I'd lost faith in partying in Leeds but maybe it isnt so bad after all.
random: I can't believe I've never been partying with The Gorgeousness. Never laid them Bajan waistline shots on him... in public.

Tonight, Tonight - Last Blog Of The Year

Are Bajans the only people the call it Old Year's Night and not New Year's Eve?

I don't have any plans. Call it sour grapes (most likely) but I think the whole thing is grossly overrated. Hopefully I will find my butt in church. Thank God for the many blessings he heaped on me last year and pray he continues to look favourably on me.

Highlights Of 2005
- Living with little sis ( as much as she annoys the crap out of me at times)
- Making my own money (even if it was a shit job)
- Watching the little ones grow up and continue to form their own personalities (even if they too rude... bless 'em)
- Meeting (again) the man I feel I've been waiting for for so very, very long (exhale)

Resolutions...

I really don't have any. I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm a (slow) work in progress. I'm still trying with the stuff I pledged to do last year. There are just too many lessons to learn and too many improvements to be made to try to cram all that into one year. I just hope I never stop trying to be a better person. There is always room for positive change.

So everyone enjoy your midnight kisses (if you get them), be thankful for your blessings, eat, drink and be merry (if that floats your boat) or just spend the time quietly with someone/ the people you love. Overall be safe

life is what you make it

Back
My first Christmas away from the fam wasn't bad at all. Had to substitute a couple things. The video conversation with the little ones on Xmas day wasn't as good as the real thing but it was better than nothing. And Tesco's Bacon Joint isn't a Farmers Choice ham but it had to suffice. All piggy isn't created equal.

Little sis did a really good jug jug though and the turkey was wukkin'. Got some great gifts (my fave was the web cam), lots of extended family quality time, excellent news on the bf front, opened gifts in Barbados via webcam and when I thought things couldn't get better it snowed on Boxing Day. Cherry on top, the Big Benn came to visit.

Who Reads This Thing Anyways?

It's strange to think of people I don't know getting a look into my head. Obviously I censor alot. I let quite a bit out though. I still don't know what to make of it when I find out random folks have taken a gander into my life. But it's a public page and I write with the knowledge that anyone can read these words and judge me.

hmmm
i dont think i care

Merry Belated Xmas to all
