Signing In From Seacroft

Last day of work today. AND they got me pressies. Rum, chocoalate and a nice pen. Party, eat and study. Yeah.. I think they got it right.

Im beginning to feel in the Christmassy spirit. The cutesy little google doodle brought is all home for me. I've been wearing my Santa hat all day and now Im having a glass of wine. Yes... at work. These British. I'm determined not to do any more work but theres only so much you can do on the net without chatting.
So Im off to London tonight. Hopefully I will hook up with the Big Benn (Im sure you get that alot)and have a relaxing time with a good book.
The weather has been great. Very 'warm' for this time of the year so no need for scarf and gloves.

So far my first Christmas away from home isn't looking so bad. Ive got Neeks and my aunt and my cousins so Im still with family even if Im not with my parents and big sis.

Hope everyone is in the mood or getting there.

Forget about snow... Im praying for a ham and jug jug Christmas

Welcome Winter

Today's the shortest day of the year. However, while I was enduring the tedium that is called money making, it felt like the longest.

Im still not in the Christmas mood. Maybe when I reach London and chill out with the family, things will feel more Santa-ish.

This guy bought me a bottle of Baileys and treated me to a movie (ignoring avid protests that I pay) and I was wondering what the hell was in it for him. I was thinking why would he go those lengths when he knows I have a bf and Im not interested in him in that kinda way. Then I thought... can't a guy just be generous without a girl looking for ulterior motives?
Much love to people that do stuff just because. Warms my heart to see that there are still very nice people knocking around.

more random

- got a ring in my Xmas cracker at work... could it be a sign? lol

- DLG is off to the Land of the Humming Bird for his vacay. Him: warm and partying; Me: cold and studying. Another example of the unfairness of life.

boringness: yes
baileys and chocolate: yes and yes
