I Wasn't Blown Away
Thank God things weren't as bad as they could have been yesterday. Just alot of wind and some rain in the wee hours of this morning. I hope the other islands weren't too badly hit.
Here is an image of during Emily. You can see for yourself it wasnt that bad at all. The sea was just really choppy.
and the day before was the proverbial calm before the storm. I live in a gorgeous island paradise (except for the hurricane thing). It should be a sin to wake up to this every morning.

My trip to Trickybad was postponed but I'm all set to leave tomorrow morning. My classmate is getting married. She's the one who set me up with MUT so I owe quite a bit of my happiness (and sadness and anger and frustration) of the last year and a half to her:)It should also be a cool mini class reunion.
Maybe I will post a pic when I get back. Im not stingy with the pics like certain people.

Ultimately...
Im responsible for my own feelings. If they get hurt its my own fault for entrusting someone with my emotions in the first place... well someone that isn't careful with them. Obviously it doesn't work like that all the time. But for the most part the callousness doesnt come as a surprise.
heres to a drama/ pain free summer.
i.e. male free summer... I have absolutely no use for those creatures except for when i require them to wukkup on in fetes.
