If Yuh Proud To Be A Bajan(8) - Crop Over Song Reviews
So somewhere between cleaning the fridge and cooking dinner I managed to hear just about every calypso/ soca song they have out for Crop Over so far.
Not bad at all.
Of course I have some distinct favourites. Im so glad for that Yellow, Blue song. Now I can get on and be patriotic all at the same time. It's well written, well sung, catchy and wukkupy/ wave yuh flaggy. I think its my new favourite.
The Nice and Easy song is great too. A good chipping down de road kinda vibe. and then the obvious waistline shots, and Edwind's yardie song is hot as well.
Shivers Down My Spine
So on Friday night I saw this guy I hadn't seen in more than a few months and it was shocking how happy I was to see him.
More shocking were the shivers he sent down my spine when he gave me a hug.
Maybe there are embers from that huge crush AGES and ages ago that will never be extinguished. Or maybe it was the way his thumb stroked my lower back. Or maybe I just havent been...errm.. hugged in a while. Whatever it is, Im happy to report that those feelings dont only exist in romance novels. :)
