happiness is....
finding the PERFECT pair of white capris and finding a cutesy top too
and nothing has been accomplised on my things to do list.
however i might be off to watch star wars this evening.
i can't remember what happened in the last two but i heard the effects in this one are good.

AND i found out that the external examiner was impressed with me.

Let The Party Begin
Last night we went to our lecturer's house for drinks and Pizza. You gotta love these foreigners. The drinks didnt stop flowing and I had so much Baileys (and fun) it was sinful. When I got home I wasnt ready for the party to stop though and it was the first time I felt disadvantaged because I didn't own a cell phone. My party partner was trying to call me so I could accompany him to another night spot.
Maybe it was for the best...
but it was so hard to get to sleep all wired up and rearing to go.
So much waist can wine all!:D
and Crop Over should be fun/interesting... Mr. Hot Body, MUT and Party Partner all set to come....talk bout trini invasion.
First Day Of Freedom
My plans? none. But imagine Im getting antsy already and its only 10:00.
So my checklist of Things To Do That I Dont HAVE To Do If I Dont Feel Like include
- sorting out my notes for binding and shipping,
- getting rid of clothing that isnt worth taking across the sea (i have enough t-shirts)
- calling the British High Commission for info
- looking for an oath taking ceremony dress
- looking for work shirts for the big sis.
thats do-able
let me go start my day... or not!

Basking in the Afterglow
Five years of university have culminated in this and the climax was sweet. My last exams were very satisfying. Now to wait for the results and then home to the babies.
Surprisingly I have no urge to go out and have drinks. I guess I didnt stress myself out this rounds so I have no stress to release. But its such a great feeling knowing you dont have to be studying.

Sigh of Content
Todays exams went well. I honestly think youre as smart as the crap they ask you and luckily for me i got asked fairly straight forward stuff so it was all good.
I watched Sex in the City reruns tonight on tbs and Carrie was talking about the possibility of women having sex like a man i.e. with no emotional attachment. How cool that I was discussing that just the other day. Wouldn't it be great to have a column to eloquently air your views and get paid to have an opinion?
I dont think I want to be a vet all my life. I think somewhere down the line if Im financially secure enough Im going to give it all up and pursue something like anthropology, interior decorating or writing a book.
To pigeon hole yourself into one career for the rest of your life seems pretty unadventurous... not to mention boring as hell. I dont care what you do or how much you love it youre going to get bored of doing the same thing every day.
Im sure even prostitutes get tired of having sex all the time.
off to read Amy Tan til I sleep. I hate confusing novels...grumble

My Party Experiences Point Form
Cigarette smoke really irks me now.
Bourgeois girls are freaky too. (long, hilarious story)
It's official Im an old hag.
Bacardi tastes 200 times better than Fernandes Black Label and I can tell the difference.
Partying is great with the girls but a sweet waist makes the experience all that much better.
Old dub is the sh*t.
My wukups are clockwise. Im still wondering if Im an oddity.
Young boys have a special appeal but the jury is still out on which I prefer (tending towards older)

Diary Of A Mad Black Woman was hilarious and somewhat thought provoking. It portrayed extremes but the situation happens all the time. Rich men leave their wives for younger versions all the time. I thank God for the opportunity to have financial freedom. My degree should give me the chance to make a comfortable living independent of what any man can bring to the table.
Never take that forgranted ladies. So many women feel trapped by their financial situation so if you have the opportunity to be independent be thankful and exploit it to the fullest.
