Eyes Wide Shut on Tuesday, sleep on wednesday, Latin Night on Thursday, Girl Power on Friday....
I admit I didnt expect anything much from Girl Power. Last year was mediocre at best to me. But this year was great. Much thanks to Dr. Knott for providing the opportunity.

I just got back from the band house with my costume. Of course you know I had to try it on. I didnt lose all the weight I wanted but I have to say that Im working the hell out of this costume:)

Just One Of Those Days
My day didnt start off terrific. Lets just say I prepped a right leg for surgery and the problem was in the left leg. The clinician was like... I would be lying if I didnt say I was disappointed. Focus Ade!
Oh dear. And of course it was quite the joke of the day when they had to explain why poor doggyloo had a poodle cut. But Ive learnt the art of laughing at myself so I got over it after feeling like cah cah for a couple hours.
Then tonight I got my favourite kind of call.... Get ready we going out:D Im easy like that. I love a spontaneous outing!
And to top it all off Govie pooh calls...
Govie Pooh:so you going out tonight?
Me: Yes actually. To Eyes Wide Shut
Govie Pooh: OK I'll see you there

We Ready For De Festival Again(8)
The count down is officially on. This is the week with no sleep for those who will be enjoying all that carnival has to offer. The foreigners are pouring in and even though i wont be partaking in most of the festivities I can feel the excitement everytime I turn on my radio. Its like you can sense the anticipation in the people.
This is what Trinis look forward to all year. And while I cant agree with them when they call it "The Greatest Show on Earth" I have to admit it feels good to be a part of something so huge and exciting.
My advice for any first timers. It is a time soley aimed at fun. This is the definition of Hedonism. So lose some inhibitions (not too many though) and exploit this for all it has to offer.
it can be good or it can be phenomenal. I think its all up to you.
And if you see me getting on too bad...just look the other way and dont talk my name in Bim. Lord I hope triniscene doest catch it on camera this time.
