Why Do People Hate Bajans So Much?
I've learnt from my mother always to look for the good in a person or a place or a situation. No matter who or where theres always a positive. That is why I HATE it when people attack my country for no reason. There are so many things I could find wrong with Trinidad but you dont see me pointing out these faults to the Trinis.
I prefer to think about how much I love their music and their carnival. And how welcoming and friendly they are. I enjoy learning about all the cultures and religions they have crammed into this place. And even though Maracas is no Sandy Beach I still like going.
Lets not talk about the food. Chinese, Indian, Creole.... Roti, blood pudding, chicken foot souse,tomato choka, pelau.
I think it has been a wonderful experience. Especially since MUT has opened my eyes to the wonder of South Trinidad. It is a whole different world down there.
SO when some jackass comes and tells me that Barbados is secondary because we dont have mountains... or because our people arent as mixed up or because its expensive. i just want to hit to ignornace and narrowmindedness out of them. I want them to know how much they are missing out on by not enjoying what each island has to offer.

MUTs best friend asked his gf of less than a year to marry him. I think he's feeling a bit of pressure... his friends wont let up about whose turn it is next.

Pressah Boy!
As the trinis would so eloquently put it.
I went to bed last night feeling like I would normally feel during Phase (the big a$$ exams).
SO frickin' overwhelmed.
Like there arent enough hours in the day. They eased us in nicely with the hobby days at the track and then pushed us into the deep end with this.
Imagine being at school from 7 until 430. This from a girl that could attend classes after noon because they clashed with her afternoon nap
But if anything its a sink or swim year. Its either I get my act togeher or I fail. And failure is not an option.
