Im going to the stupid party. Carnival comes once a year and this is one of the best of them. Ive been 3 years in a row and never disappointed. So... I going to get Bazodeed by Machel tonight.

The MUT has returned. He's a sucker for punishment but i love his company so im not complaining. And he's wisening up. Last night i was in a mood and I told him so... so he said...well I'll talk to you tomorrow. smart guy.
Vet In A Spin
I've resisted reading James Herriot (sp?) for a while now. I assumed it was a tedious read. Lets just say I was wrong. I finished his novel in 6 hours last night (including breaks) and I cant wait to read the whole series. All the stupid diseases I catch my tail to learn in class; he presents in such a simple way, full of imagination and wit. So easy to learn.
Great writer. I recommend his books even if you dont care that Listeriosis is a circling disease.
BUT
the down side is it made me emotional. I was laughing out loud one chapter and the next i was literally bawling. The thing about being a vet is that you have to distance yourself a bit from these animals. Its not every disease that you will be able to cure and sometimes the kindest thing you can do for an animal is put it out of its misery. This book showed me that I have quite a way to go before it wont hurt:(

Im unable to attend my fete this weekend. Ive done my budget and my account will be overdrawn if I do all the things I want to. Unfortunately I have no overdraft facility :D

I just cant seem to settle down. Exam on Thursday and Ive done about 3 hours max of studying. This exam is going to kick my ass and im going to get all angry with myself and all sad at the results.... and then I'll jump for carnival and get it out my system!:D
just got a free ticket for another fete with Xtatik and the instructions "Leave Sunday open, we going out."
my priorities are ALL screwed. Im loving it!
